Affordable website design
The United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW were in desperate need of a new website. The old site was severely out of date, was not responsive, and was hard to read and navigate.
The website was created long since – on a legacy platform – no one on staff or board could now access the backend. We helped them find and download all available content before migration to Squarespace.
We assessed the website and the userbase and knew that the new website must be clear and simple to use. We needed to style it with reasonably large, legible text for readability as the majority of users are middle-aged and older people. Pain points had been identified – such as keeping branch contact lists and member forms up to date.
Sauce Design implemented a clean design, in keeping with the UHANSW identity. We also devised ways to simplify common updating tasks to avoid ‘double-handling’. We continue to work with UHANSW to improve their in-house branch and member ordering system.
