The Metropolitan Hotel in Orange has undergone a major renovation. The iconic pub has been in business for around 150 years, and is a well-loved watering hole for locals and visitors alike. The refurb uses many elements of the building’s history such as original painted signage, original handmade brickwork, and timber window frames.
Joanne and Mark (who is himself a fifth-generation publican) have created a warm and comfortable country pub feel with lots of callbacks to the building’s past.
As part of the fit-out, we designed historical graphics for repurposed timber window lightboxes, doors, insignia, and a commemorative T-shirt.
