We’ve moved up in the world folks. After a massive renovation effort from Kira, Victor and a host of volunteers, Sauce Design moved into our new home last month, and our brand new website is live today. You might also notice we took the opportunity to rebrand in the process.

We reclaimed lots of the original copper pipe, which was created into a bespoke industrial chandelier – designed by Victor Gordon, welded together by the team at Terry Board plumbing, and wired by Simon at Thompson Power. Vintage green enamel warehouse lampshades were a brilliant find, sourced locally on Ebay.

The kitchen bench was another local treasure – and a challenging delivery from Caldwell of Molong. It’s fitted with an old porcelain laboratory sink picked up at another local auction, and copper tap and pipes. The bright yellow floor is an epoxy paint finish – suitably smelly stuff. Milissa from budget blinds and awnings is responsible for the fantastic honeycomb shades insulating us from the arctic Orange winter temperature.

We’ve never had a shop-front before, so we designed the 10 metre wide window graphic to create a little privacy and presence as you walk through the plaza. Tim at mcsigns liaised with us for the printing, and also did a fantastic [and formidable] job on the install.
